pundits say, believers pray, all children play,
shallow portray, satisfied stay, live to fight another day,


politicians schmoose, voters choose, those that don't measure up lose,
disparaging news, dim-witted confuse, worried faithful kneel in the pews,

dysfunctional leer, champions disappear, the unprepared fear,
family's dear, liars smear, the end is near,

evangelical's dispell, weakest fell, the frustrated yell,
salesman sell, confiders tell, disbelievers go to hell,

timid scare, elitists chair, commoners boldly dare,
compassionate share, prisoner's scare, the law isn't fair,


depleting our time, ignoring sublime, a trash talking mime,
knowledge divine, behavior defines, with our priorities in line,

radicals roust, semantically joust, quotations from Faust, 
drunkard's soused, reclusives regretfully housed, regrets boldly espoused,


refreshingly chill, having our fill, lonelier still,
unsatisfied will, our emotions spill, a life without frill,


centered in town, causing a frown, their shirts are brown,
looking down, and around, has everyone wearing a crown,


thieves steal, righteous reel, showing little appeal,
blind feel, dealer's deal, the detained squeal,
