neutron, proton, electrons, and quarks,
atomic frame, space, detectable sparks,
mammals, fish, birds, reptiles, man,
how, what, where, why, no visible plan,
thoughts, emotions, hopes, and dreams,
no confidence, loneliness, failed schemes,
friends, feelings, love, and animal lust,
competing with others, because we must,
galaxies, planets, stars, cosmic dust,
science mere speculation, offers blind trust,
universes, time, invisible holes of black,
stars, distant light speed, why ? we lack,
birth, life, illness, destined to die,
complex forces, atomic framework, defy,
painful, fearful, hateful, wish to cry,
social, educated, career hopes so high,
chemicals, rocks, seas, that boundless sky,
infinite time and space, seeking reply,
are we alone or not alone.....and why ?
